Interview with Jonathan Glazer, film director Age 33, Comes from London

Did you always want to work in film?
Yet you went on to study a degree in Theatre Design. Why not a film course?
Was this the right choice?
For me, yes, definitely. The course itself (at Nottingham Trent University) was great. It covered performance, art and design and music and I was able to design and direct my own shows and work in mixed media. I raised the money and shot a 25 minute film while I was there and also had work experience in a production company which made commercials.

Did the work flood in then?
