Interview with Jamie Morton, games designer Age: 25, Comes
from: Rotherham.
How did you get to be
a level designer?
A games tester- dream
job?
So how did you move up
from testing?
But with all the
software to help you, is art that important?
Yes definitely. You've got to understand textures, patterns
and colours and be able to draw and design images and ideas.
The software packages are tools to help you do that - that's
all.
Who actually invents the
games?
And what do you like most
about your job?
Are the financial rewards
good too?
What about the not so
good bits?
So what's the advice
Last thing. When you wake
up in the mornings, do you look forward to work?
