Interview with Mah Rana, jeweller Age 35. Comes from London.

Did you always want to be a jeweller?
Not at first. I just knew I wanted to do something artistic. I didn't realise, until I did a two-year national diploma in art and design which covered all the art options, that you could study jewellery at degree level, which I then went on to do.
What exactly did you study?
What did you do after the Royal College of Art?
How did you become established?
So your business became successful?
There are different strands to your career. Is this deliberate?
What aspect of your work gives you the most pleasure?
What do you like least?
Last question. Do you look forward to work everyday?
