Interview with Mah Rana, jeweller Age 35. Comes from London.
Did you always want to
be a jeweller?
What exactly did you study?
What did you do after the
Royal College of Art?
How did you become established?
So your business became
successful?
There are different strands
to your career. Is this deliberate?
What aspect of your work
gives you the most pleasure?
Producing the one-off pieces for museums I think. I exhibit
around the world and get to travel a lot and move in the jewellery
world at an international level. It means I meet some fascinating
people. Most importantly I have the choice and freedom to
explore my ideas in my work and to be creative.
What do you like least?
Last question. Do you look
forward to work everyday?
