99% of the UK population watch television, lots of us have video recorders, we go to the cinema, we listen to the radio. We talk about programmes and films. Actors become stars, presenters are 'personalities'...It's not surprising then that so many of us want to work in film, video, television and radio.

You could work in broadcast television and radio programmes, in feature films, in tv and film commercials, in pop promos, in multimedia education and entertainment and in interactive television. Many people will work in more than one of these sectors at any time. Increasingly employers look for people who are multi-skilled and flexible in their work. Computer literacy is often important.
