Interview with Melanie Grant, broadcast journalist Age
27, Comes from London.
What does your work involve?
What would a typical day
be like for you?
How did you manage to work
as a journalist at the BBC?
Did you always want to do
something like this?
How did you get your 'foot
in the door'?
What did you do then?
And what do you like most
about your job?
The people I work with. In this field everybody is a natural
communicator so it's a very friendly and open environment.
The job satisfaction is good too. It's great when I hear the
website mentioned on programmes and I feel that we're all
working together to make the station and the website successful.
What about the not so good
bits?
Any advice for other aspiring
broadcasters?
And do you look forward to
work every day?
