Interview with Jamie Morton, games designer Age: 22, Comes
from: Rotherham.
How did you get to be
a level designer?
A games tester- dream
job?
So how did you move up
from testing?
Well, I was keen to learn and I mastered all the software
packages that you need to use and gradually worked my way
up. I could have stayed as a tester but I'd always wanted
to work on the creative side and use my art skills - it's
much more satisfying.
But with all the software
to help you, is art that important?
Who actually invents the
games?
And what do you like most
about your job?
Are the financial rewards
good too?
What about the not so
good bits?
So what's the advice
Last thing. When you wake
up in the mornings, do you look forward to work?
