Interview with Mark Hill, Music producer and songwriter
Were you always interested in music?
So what happened on the academic front?
You set up in a recording studio business straight after university. A good idea?
And about this time Craig David came on the scene?
Craig became a friend when he was at school but by this time was studying electronics at college in Southampton.
I knew he had a great voice so, in our spare time, we put together an album. We didn‘t have a record deal,
we just did it for fun.
The rest though, as they say, is history. What‘s your life like now? Is there a typical working day?
Did you plan your career?
And what do you like best about what you do?
And like least?
For lots of young people interested in music yours sounds like the dream career. Any advice?
Do you look forward to work everyday?
