Interview with Richard Ede, actor.
Age 26, Comes from Poole, Dorset.
What exactly is a people
greeter?
Is that as, er, good as it sounds?
How did you get into acting?
Was it an early ambition?
So how did you start?
Have you kept working in
acting?
What about advice for someone
considering the acting profession?
Well, although I didn't, it's best to get proper training.
There is a degree of snobbery in the business and sometimes
you just won't get considered for a job unless you've been
to drama school - it's the same in lots of industries where
it helps to have the 'right' qualifications. So although I
don't regret not having been trained, I think it's probably
a good idea. Anyway, I'd like to do some singing and dancing
lessons myself soon.
Where do you see yourself
in the future?
What do you like most about
acting?
What do you like least?
Do you look forward to
work every day?
