Interview with Hannah Barnes-Murphy, book editor. Age
24. Comes from Salisbury, Wiltshire.
What does a book editor do?
Is this what you always wanted
to do?
I didn't really have any particular ambition in mind when
I was at school and, as a result, ended up taking a mixed
bag of 'A' levels in Art and Design, German and Biology! It
was then I became really interested in the History of Art
and started thinking about a career in arts publishing.
So did you study something
related to that career choice?
How did you get your present
job?
What do you like most about
it?
It sounds a great job. Is
there anything that's not so good about it?
Any advice?
Do you look forward to work
every day?
