Interview with Hannah Barnes-Murphy, book editor. Age
24. Comes from Salisbury, Wiltshire.
What does a book editor do?
Is this what you always wanted
to do?
So did you study something
related to that career choice?
Yes, I decided to study for a degree in History of Art at
Warwick University with the definite aim of using this in
my work, so I did become really quite focused. I think if
you're considering a career in the arts, then you do have
to think about it early on and plan for it. The arts field
is so competitive.
How did you get your present
job?
What do you like most about
it?
It sounds a great job. Is
there anything that's not so good about it?
Any advice?
Do you look forward to work
every day?
