Interview with Hannah Barnes-Murphy, book editor. Age
24. Comes from Salisbury, Wiltshire.
What does a book editor do?
Is this what you always wanted
to do?
So did you study something
related to that career choice?
How did you get your present
job?
What do you like most about
it?
It sounds a great job. Is
there anything that's not so good about it?
I suppose book editing is not particularly well paid so you
do have to be devoted to it as a profession. You can end up
working some very long hours in the later stages of the book
too - but that's just part of the job.
Any advice?
Do you look forward to work
every day?
