Interview with Freia Turland, photographer. Age 25. Comes
from Cheltenham.
What does your job involve?
What's a normal day like?
Did you always want to be
a press photographer?
I became really interested in photography at school but I
didn't know what sort of photographer I wanted to be. I did
an art foundation course at Cheltenham College of Higher Education
where I specialised in photography. Then I went on to do a
degree in photography - a BA Design: Photography to give it
its proper title! - at Staffordshire University, it was there
I became interested in press work.
How did you get into the press?
Which aspects do you like
the most?
Anything you don't like?
What about the financial rewards?
Any advice for aspiring press
photographers?
Do you look forward to work
every day?
